Privacy Policy

ReLume Health collects information you choose to provide so the app can support kidney-health organization and tracking. This may include your name, email address, account identifier, care-stage profile, dialysis session information, weight, blood pressure, heart rate, fluid intake, medications and adherence, symptoms, nutrition information, lab results, health goals, photos or files you upload, care-team messages, and other information you enter.

We may also collect limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as app interactions, device or other identifiers, diagnostics, and crash logs.

We use information to provide and maintain your account; display your health history and trends; support reminders, tracking tools, and care coordination; respond to support requests; protect the service; diagnose technical problems; and improve ReLume Health.

When you use AI-assisted features, the information relevant to your request may be processed to generate educational summaries, pattern observations, or prompts to review information with a qualified healthcare professional. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect and is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency monitoring.

ReLume Health is a personal health organization and wellness-support tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or continuous clinical monitoring. It does not automatically notify your doctor or emergency services.

Do not delay or disregard professional medical care because of information shown in the app. Call 911 or your local emergency number for an emergency.

We do not sell personal or health information and do not use it for third-party advertising. Information may be shared only with care-team members you explicitly invite; service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, or operate the app under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations; or legal and regulatory authorities when required by law.

You control care-team access and may revoke an invited member's access from the app.

Personal and health information is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard safeguards. We limit access to people and providers who need it to operate the service. No security method can guarantee absolute protection, but we maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may delete your account and associated data from the app or submit a deletion request. We aim to permanently remove account-linked personal and health information within 30 days, except limited records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of your personal information; withdraw optional permissions; and control who can view information you share. You may also revoke care-team access at any time.

ReLume Health is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated within the app.
